English is
International Language. Mempelajari bahasa inggris sangatlah penting bagi kita
agar kita dapat berkomunikasi antar Negara. Pada saat ini, progam studi bahasa
Inggris diwajibkan di sekolah-sekolah SD, SMP, SMA, Perguruan tinggi bahkan di
Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) pun sudah diajarkan kosakata-kosakata sederhana.
Tidak dapat disangkal, di era
global Bahasa Inggris menjadi sarana komunikasi bagi masyarakat
berbagai bangsa dan budaya. In every country, penggunanya juga tumbuh
beragam. Dalam pertumbuhan ini ada yang dianggap atau menganggapnya sebagai
bahasa standar, dalam proses standarisasi, bahkan ada yang tidak termasuk dalam
keduanya.
Bahasa Inggris
tumbuh dan berkembang dalam berbagai kontek sosial budaya dan lingkungan yang
berbeda. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya cenderung dipengaruhi dan diarahkan
oleh lingkungan tersebut.
Masalah utama yang
sederhana, pasti siswa masih kesulitan mempelajari “TENSE”. Padahal untuk dapat
menguasai bahasa Inggris dengan mudah, yaitu dengan cara menguasai tenses terlebih
dahulu.
